Nicht arbeitendes Drehzahlmesser

I installed the LCD tacho today in my Daewoo Nexia, wich is like a Kadett E. All lights and speedometer work, but the Tachometer does not work.

I inserted the green cable nr. 7 on the X8 stecker in the Tacho impulse from my car, but it is not working.

Any ideas why?

Ich brachte den LCD Tacho heute in mein Daewoo Nexia, wich bin wie ein Kadett E an. Alle Lichter und Geschwindigkeitsmesser arbeiten, aber der Tachometer arbeitet nicht. Ich setzte das grüne Kabel nr ein. 7 auf dem stecker X8 im Tachoantrieb von meinem Auto, aber es arbeiten nicht. Irgendwelche Ideen warum?

I was wondeing if the problem could be from the No. 7 PIN on the X8 stecker. Can the Drehzahlmesser PIN not be the No. 7 ?? Could it be another PIN on the X8 stecker?

PIN no. 7 is correct. are you sure, that the cable is also correct attached at the ignition coil or engine-controller? Then perhaps the LCD is defect, or a cable is broken. In some types of cars, the cable for PIN No. 7 is at the tacho plug, but it ends in a plug somewhere in the engine compartment.

I connected the original Drehzahlmesser and it works, on the same cable as the LCD. I guess this means the Drehzahlmesser is broken.

But when it initialises (when it makes the test) the Drehzahlmesser looks ok. Goes from 0 to 7.000 rpm.

I tried another LCD from a friend and that did not work either. Could 2 LCD be broken??

My Service Manual tells me that the RPM signal from the car is Analogic. Should it be Digital signal or what?

Meine Betriebsanleitung erklärt mir, daß das U/min Signal vom Auto Analogic ist. Sollte es Digital Signal sein, oder was?
