    Thanks for response. If we can change a FWD to RWD in Finland, wich needs multiple changes to bodywork and axel mounting points, I dont see reason why I cant drill a adjustable holes to the shock towers. I have build Kadett C 1.2 to 2.0 Cih, and used parts from other cars too and no problem in inspection. You can put for example Saab's engine in Kadett D and C. I think the upper mount for another vehicle is less worry about this project. 😅 I am more worry about the Kadett E dash installation. There are specific % readings, how much we can modify cars in Finland. Trust me, I've working on cars nearly 30 years.. (mechanic for 24 years and teaching youngsters to repair cars in school for 6 years).

    Greetings from Finland! I have "tiny" project here 😅 So, 1.2S is carried out of the car, and I have C20NE waiting for install with F16 gearbox.

    Brakes and chassis parts are from GSi Kadett 8V, also dashboard and center console are from model E. Problem was to find rear coils for Kadett D big block model, so I installed E model upper, rear coil plates in it.

    I cleaned the chassis to bare metal and weld all rust holes (not too bad for 44 year old car) . Drivers side floorpan is fitted with Kadett - E repair panel. Front shocks upper mounts are fitted from VW Passat 2007, slight oval holes, that I can adjust the camber-angle. The doors lower panel are replaced, and now they are in mint condition. I also replaced the sills too, and the whole car is nearly in bare metal.

    Hope some day, it will pass inspection, but a bit of work must be done before that!

    Ich bin gerade dabei, bei meinem Kadett einen Motorumbau durchzuführen. Als Antrieb dient ein C20NE-Motor mit F16-Getriebe. Das Fahrwerk und die Federung habe ich so gelöst, dass ich hinten die oberen Federteller vom E-Kadett verbaut habe, und vorne kommen Federbeine vom Kadett GSi mit Domlagern vom VW Passat 3B zum Einsatz. In die Karosserie habe ich drei ovale Löcher gebohrt und die Öffnung vergrößert, um eine gewisse Verstellung des Sturzwinkels zu ermöglichen. An der Vorderachse sind GSi-Querlenker mit PU-Buchsen verbaut.
