you have the luck to register your modification in germany,

how much does it take to register a c20XE or C20LET in a kadett for example ?

in France, it's not legal, you can't registered your car with another engine. But if the police don't see your engine bay you have no problem, if you drive cool.
You can payed for register but you are sure it's refused In France
