#4 I have only heared from mouth to mouth of this camshaft. I have no technical info about it.
I think, it must be like the 284° Mantzel shaft. This shaft have a good performance and raise the power realy about 10HP.
IRMSCHER is a good tuner and have many experience in motor sports. I think you cannot do anythink wrong, when it is a real IRMSCHER shaft.

#6 We have discused this here several times. the opening and closing Times are the same. The SEH Cam open earlier,but close earlier,too. The opening Time is the same. It´s like when du adjust the C20NE cam one tooth forwart. But it will not change the engine performance up to 15HP.
The SEH engine gets it´s more power from other pistons, which upgrade the compression from 9,1:1 (C20NE) to 10:1 (20SEH).
Furthermore the 20SEH have no catalyst,what is better for the exhaust to get out.When you equip the C20NE engine with the 20SEH shaft, you might be lucky, if the engine has 5HP more.
I have eqiuped my SEH with the original shaft from the 18E engine (1,8 GTE), opening time 297°. He could feel a much better performance above 4000rpm.And the high speed became 20kph more! This is no joke!

#7 Also hier noch ne kleine Anmerkung zu den Wellen:
Die Irmscher Welle RO 284 bringt keine 10-12PS !!Diese Welle bringt auch nur was mit der Irmscher Ansaugbrücke.Und da war die Leistung auch nur ECHTE 128PS.
Die LX90 Welle ist top in Verbindung mit dem Ram und bringt ECHTE 129PS.
Das sind die Erfahrungen die wir auf dem Prüfstand gemacht haben. -

it is not 100% the same opening and closing but very near

Did you remap you ecu when you put on original shaft from the 18E engine (1,8 GTE), opening time 297°?
I can purchase this shaft from friend....What you recommend?

#9 My SEH runs with a original C20NE control unit with original ecu.
Three weeks ago, i equipped the engine with a Lexmaul Ram. Now i want to install the complete engine managment from a Astra F GSi.
Then i will bring my Caravan to Steinmetz Opel Tuning and they will remap the ecu of this control unit.
But this won´t be done before next spring. -
