    November 2006 - Januar 2007

Because the rear wheel arch wasn't strait anymore and I wanted something else, I took two front fenders and welded them croslike in place.
So the left front fender is welded on the right rear side and the right front fender on de left rear side

    tinned:

A small compilation until September this year

Cleaned the rear side and removed the seam's

I painted one side red with a aerosol to get an idea of the result

Picture's of the door and front wheel arch.

Als bought some new racing parts for my car.
    *OMP 8cm lowering spring's
*raceclutch and race pressure plate of OMP
    *OMP FIA bucketseat frame left/right
*OMP 3p seatbelt hooks plus mounting plate for weling on the exhaust tunnel
    *OMP rear strut-brace.
    *OMP front under strut-brace.
*adjustable shortened (race) Koni's with the new logo.

Replaced the radiator with one of less :thumbup

Made a angry look on the kadett

OMP 8cm lowering springs vs 4cm lowering springs

Mounted the 8cm lowering springs and the rear strut-brace

8cm lowering springs, vs 4cm, vs original

    lowered

Started with removing the bump strip out of the bumper and cleaning the bumper

    later today another update :D

layed done a raster as firm underground for the glassfiber

    sanded the glassfiber down

    Done

I made a stencil for cleaning the the rear:

Welded the seatbelt mounting points on the middle console

Because I also wanted to keep the original seatbelts I must adjust the following configuration (little bending)

    New boot orig opel/gm

welded in place and made flat

    rear bumper sprayed in primer:

boot cleaned and almost ready for primer

Masking of the kadett for primer

    ready:

since last saturday the body is sprayed in primer:thumbup:

Only the both doors, roofrails, the new rear booth and maybe the sideskirts front bumper and mirrors must also be sprayed in primer.

Another two pictures of the kadett without the masking paper

That's a lot of work you did there and if i may say so it looks very professional.
Can't wait to see the Endresult of your car.
Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming.

It's time to show you guys that I'm still working on it :P

    A couple of pictures outside:

I put the side air vents in primer, and after that sanded them down with 400

    Rear booth in airosol primer

Sanded down the kadett with 400:wub

When it's time to get it painted, I will first sand it down with wet 800 or 1000

But first I must sand down the rear bumper, assembly the sideskirts and roughen the front bumper with a scotch mat.

    painted the bootlid in primer

sanded down the bootlid with 400

sanded down the rear bumper with 400

sanded down the front bumper with 400

attached the new bootlid to the kadett and it's allready looking much better now

    bonded the sideskirts

I got a question for you all
I couldn't get my window out of my bootlid does somebody know how you can remove the rear window because trying to cut it out with a stanley knife doesn't do the job:grumpy:

I cuted my Windows out with a Wire.
Your work looks very nice are you going to Paint your Car by yourself ??
What kind of Engine is built in there LET or am i wrong ??
On some of your Pix i saw that you had an Airintake very low mounted on your car you know that this is very
dangerous because the Engine could suck in Water from the Road.
