    Habe ein Auto inseriert und diese seltsame mail bekommen! Was haltet Ihr davon? Was verspricht der sich davon? Stimmen wird`s ja jedenfalls nicht... :D

    I want to inform you that I will buy your car but i have a business proposal for you... I am a captain with the United States troop in Iraq,on war against terrorism.


    Based on the United States legislative and executive decision for withdrawing troops from Iraq come this year,I have been deployed to come and work in your country's military base soonest.     Nicht darauf reagieren.
    Da wirste nur beschissen. Am Ende haste nämlich nur eins: Nix. Weder Geld noch Auto.


    Seriöse Anfragen sind in der Landessprache, und wenn nicht, dann will der her kommen und das Auto mal sehen und Probefahren. Alles andere ist Mist. Das hatte ich auch schon das ein oder andere Mal.

    ich glaube das hatten wir schonmal. Das ist reine verarsche. Jedes Auto das wir verkaufen wollten kam so eine Mail. Er wolle mit Check bezahlen oder ein Freund kommt vorbei usw usw.
    Verstehe nicht dass mobile.de oder autoscout24.de noch keinen Riegel für solche Mails gemacht haben.


    Aber die Masche scheint zu funktionieren und einige Leute fallen darauf rein sonst würden die es nicht weitermachen...

    Geht doch im Endeffekt gar nicht um das Auto. Lest doch mal :D
    Der Typ ist angeblich von der Army und sucht nur jemanden, der ehrlich ist, hat 6.8 Mill.US$ und weiß nicht, wie er sie hierhin überweisen soll.
    Das Auto interessiert ihn doch gar nicht...
    Das geht nur über ein anderes Konto - meins ! :totlach:
    Als Anreiz gibt er mir dafür 30 % :lol:
    Deshalb fragte ich ja, was jemand von so`nem Quatsch hat!? :rollin:

    das kann ich dir sagen. schreibt er ja. er is ein betuchter soldat und kann sich solche sachen nicht leisten. du allerdings auch nicht. geldwäsche nennt man das und bringt gut n paar jahre zuchthaus.

    Das ist eine uralte Masche des Vorkasse-Betruges, auch als "Nigeria-Masche" bekannt.


    Scheck - evtl. sogar Fälschung - einer ausländischen Bank wird eingereicht, Differenz wird ausbezahlt, Scheck wird storniert (bei irischen Banken beispielsweise bis zu 7 Monate möglich!) .... also ausbezahlte Kohle weg, Auto weg, und das Konto tief im Minus.


    Dazu kommt dann im ungünstigsten Falle noch ein Verfahren wegen Geldwäsche auf den Autoverkäufer zu!


    Die Plattformen können nicht gut jede Mail lesen, die ein angeblicher Kaufinteressent an den Verkäufer schickt!


    Auch sehr häufig sind die infolge von Phishing-Mails "übernommenen" Händler-Accounts auf allen Verkaufs-Plattformen.


    Die auffälligste Version sind die mit den eingeblendeten Maiadressen in den Fahrzeug-Abbildungen.


    Nur 3 Beispiele von gestern:


    Da fragt man sich dann doch, wieso diese Mailadressen trotz Kontaktmöglichkeiten direkt an den Händler genutzt werden.


    Aber es gibt auch Händleraccounts, die mit Fremdeinstellungen (bis zu über 5000 Fahrzeuge!) "besetzt" werden, und die nicht an Mail-Texten erkennbar sind. Hier haben die Betrüger ("Scammer") Zugriff auf die Mailbox des Händlers.

    Hallo Geschichtenleser.
    Ist ja eine tolle Geschichte, die dieser edle Kämpfer gegen das Böse von sich gibt. Er nimmt es dann aber doch nicht so genau mit der Wahrheit.
    Wahrscheinlich ist es genau so wie ConvoyBuddy schreibt. Ein schönse Beispiel, wie unsicher der Internationale (Finanz-)Handel und das www sind.
