    He had many electrical problems, bodywork very detonated, some missing trim, cut springs (lowered car) and with engine failure.
    So I decided to take initiative and start taking care of him, changing parts and slowly reforming.

    I think you will have the youngest Kadett here at the forum!?


    Only the convertible was produced for europe till 1993.
    The normal hatchback, limousine and estate got produced from 1984 - 1991.


    Yours looks very fine! Please show us a few pics from the interior...i may remember that it is a little different to our german Kadetts!?

    The only Kadett who came to Brazil with the name of the German model was Kadett Kadett-E.

    I don´t know how much you know about the german Kadett!? But you can get to know about him more on a users ( BigMcDonalds ) homepage: kadett-info.de .
    The german Kadett is more 80´s - like.


    It´s also interesting that the Kadett is also getting produced today as Daewoo Nexia in Usbekistan. ;)


    So to say Kadett from 1984 - open end! LOL


    I like the german Kadett very much but i also like the Kadett Sport as well. I wish to have some one like that....but costs are to high! :(

    Continuing ...


    on Monday (7/13/2009) I brought the workshop to have a check-up on the engine, replacing parts damaged, replace the air filters, oil pumps, sails, ropes, belts, water exchange and the radiator engine oil.

    And there was another full day almost giving a general power steering.

    Leaving the workshop came home a little more quiet. Sunday I just went digging, my girlfriend and Kadett.
    Still felt that the Kadett was not very nice. He lowered too bothered, you could feel the asphalt and all holes and gaps, bearings and rear wheel hubs worn, you could not move from 60KM / h which was beginning to shake the car and brake much was not anything nice.
    So I decided to leave the Kadett in the garage for something bad does not happen.
    End of July 2009 so I decided to give a general at the car safety.
    It was an expense but it was very worthwhile.
    I removed the springs 4 cut and sent to put four new springs and unbroken. 4 new shocks, 4 discs (dishes), hubs and bearings, all new pads and sent to replace all the bushings and pivots of the balance. I checked the status of the suspensions

    And started to show a little trouble. as radiator water (engine cooling system) getting dirty again and evaporating, the oil having to be completed almost every week about a pint.


    Then I had some tasks to the car.

    Recover wheels
    Replacing the roof lining
    Wash the carpets and seats, to remove the bad smell


    the engine and unfortunately I had to leave for later.


    After completing a month with the Kadett GSI on 07/08/2009 I have decided to plan for major reform in January 2010.


    No longer bear to be stopping at the station to fill up the tire every day. I went to a company's workshop and I left my precious four wheels to be refurbished.
